Ta’ Pennellu is a family-run restaurant run by Anthony, the eldest son known by the affectionate nickname Pennellu, which comes from the family term and his artistic abilities.
By fusing his artistic skills with the culinary arts, Pennellu has succeeded in specializing in the preparation of dishes inspired by the gastronomic experience he has acquired over 15 years of practice. This passion for recipe creation emerged as a child, listening to his seafaring grandfather share with his grandmother the recipes he had discovered on his many travels. Pennellu was impressed by his grandmother’s ability to adapt these recipes using local ingredients.
