An ideal combination is offered with a half-day diving trip and a half-day boat tour of Comino. This scuba diving activity allows you to discover Malta’s seabed and experience an underwater baptism.
The activity takes place under the supervision of a diving instructor, who provides instructions on equipment and safety procedures, ensuring that the experience is both safe and enjoyable.
No previous diving experience is necessary, and no exceptional physical condition is required. The minimum age for participation is 10 years.
The dive takes place in Cirkewwa, renowned for its ideal conditions for introductory diving, with shallow, wind-protected waters close to the coast.
Baptism diving lasts around 3h30, although this can vary according to participants’ needs for equipment and adaptation. Timing is flexible.
After the christening, a transfer is organized from Cirkewwa pier to Comino aboard a sailboat. Participants will have the opportunity to visit emblematic sites such as the Blue Lagoon, Cristal Lagoon and Cominotto. Once anchored, a variety of activities can be undertaken, from swimming to cave exploration, as well as a visit to the Cominotto tunnel. Passengers can also choose to relax on the boat’s deck.
The tour also includes a snorkeling break on the P-31, a 45-meter-long sunken vessel whose highest point is at a depth of 9 meters, allowing optimal observation from the surface.
The sailboat trip continues for 4 hours after the dive.
